Karakol Lake

Day 14

Jiayuguan Pass
The most western area of the Great Wall was very important due to its strategic location. For many centuries it worked as the Chinese border for the Silk Road. This used to be the place where the border officers produced the passports for the travelers, writing their personal details and drawing their portraits by hand.

Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor (Terracotta Warriors)
This stunning archaeological site will impress you with its more than 8000 warriors, every single one different from the others and all ready to fight. The UNESCO declared it World Heritage Site.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Admire the most famous pagoda of Xi’an and enjoy the surrounding area, where you could find plenty of temples and feel the unique religious atmosphere emanated by the Buddhist temples in China. If requested by the clients, they could go upstairs by feet along the more than one thousand steps to the Pagoda. (We do not include this ticket).

Great Mosque
Witness of the cultural cross in the region, this mosque combined the Chinese decoration and the Muslim atmosphere.

Muslim Quarter
